Terra Luft

Terra Luft is an award-winning speculative fiction author whose imagination conjures mostly dark tales. Her work leads readers to look at the world differently while exploring adult themes and challenging societal norms in hopes of allowing fresh perspectives to emerge. An overachiever by nature, Terra tackles every project with coffee and sarcasm and believes all rules exist to be broken. She holds a BA in Creative Writing and English with a minor in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. She is a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, and The League of Utah Writers where she serves as a member of the board as Membership Chair and Executive Secretary. She resides in the mountains of Utah with her indulgent and supportive husband and their two daughters, their dogs, and a cat who stole her heart.

For the last eight years, Terra has dedicated thousands of hours to the League of Utah Writers. While volunteering for the League, she was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award - Gold and the Utah State Lt. Governor Volunteer Recognition Award. She ran the Conference Committee for years all while working full time and getting a handful of higher education degrees. Besides her current Board positions, she is the administrator of the conference registration system for the Pre-Quill and Quills Conferences and still writes and publishes award-winning stories.
