Writer of the Year
The Writer of the Year Award is awarded to a member of the League who has had the best year as a writer. This specification could be achieved in terms of sales, publishing credits, perhaps a plum teaching position, whatever the entrant determines to be success in this realm. Only credits that were achieved during the current year 2023/2024, since the last Quills Conference will apply. Service and contributions to the League and/ or the local writing community, are not mandatory requirements, but may be figured into the final evaluation in which the Writer of The Year is chosen. There are so many wonderful writers in the League. Please think of those writers who you feel are deserving and send your nominations to carolync4@gmail.com Nominations will be accepted until July 15. Your kind consideration is greatly appreciated.
